My new book, The Great Awakening by Jerry Scrivo was written to reveal how GOD supported the Apostle’s great commission.
In the first century AD a Spiritual War was waged between GOD and SATAN. SATAN ruled the earth and was not about to give it up. GOD however was ready to reclaim his creation. Jesus Christ had redeemed the sins of mankind and humans were now qualified for salvation.
SATAN had crucified Jesus the Messiah to eliminate the threat to his domination on earth. After the resurrection SATAN was determined to prevent a worldwide Christian church.
But GOD’s supernatural power backed the Apostles and prevented SATAN’s use of war and persecution from interfering.
When readers see GOD’s power in the history of the Christian church it opens them to seeing GOD in their own lives.
The reason we fail to see GOD is that we do not look for him. We often think of GOD as a distant score keeper not as our savior. Nothing could be further from the truth.
